How is this different from free YouTube tutorials?
Tutorials teach you to recreate a specific result. This course teaches you the process behind any project. How to develop an idea, plan and structure your work, and apply the finishing touches that make animation feel intentional. That's the gap tutorials never fill.
Is this suitable for beginners?
Ideally you'll need a working knowledge of After Effects. This isn't a software basics course. If you're already following tutorials comfortably but struggling to work independently, this is for you.
What software do I need?
Throguhout the course I used Adobe After Effects and Illustrator version 2025. So if you want to follow along with my exact project files, you'll need at least that version or newer.
Is this just an After Effects tutorial?
No, and that's the point. A lot of what this course covers happens before you open After Effects. Idea development, pre-production, structure, and planning. The animation itself is only one part of the process, this teaches you the rest.
How long will it take to complete?
There's 7.5 hours of content, but in practice it'll take longer. The course is built around doing, not just watching. Go at a pace that works best for you. You'll have unlimted access with no deadlines.
